Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure you understand them.
Booking and confirmation
Course/Workshop participants will receive an email to confirm their booking shortly after the payment for the course/workshop is made. If you don’t receive confirmation please email us asap to firstname.lastname@example.org
Participants places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Course/Workshop fee includes Client’s Manual workbook. Lunch is not included.
The following charges apply:
30+ days’ notice before a course/workshop start date – £30 administration fee
14-30 days’ notice before a course/workshop start date – 50% course/workshop fee is charged
0-14 days’ notice before a course/workshop start date – 100% course/workshop fee is charged
No refund will be made if, for whatever reason, you cancel giving us less than two weeks notice before course starting date.
In the unlikely event that a course/workshop is cancelled, we will refund the fee in full but will not be responsible for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including transportation, accommodation, and meal costs.
In the unlikely that a session of a course is cancelled we will make our best to inform participants as soon as possible. An alternative session date will be scheduled. Unfortunately, if you are not able to attend then no refunds will be made.
In the event of public transport strikes or weather conditions affecting transport, our course will go ahead as planned. In the event of course cancellation caused by an extreme event, we will use our best resources to contact you.
We reserve the right to change the content, the facilitator or the location for a course/workshop, or to reschedule it. Participants will be advised of these changes as soon as possible.
If there are insufficient participant bookings, we reserve the right to cancel the event with at least 7 days notice. Participants are therefore advised not to book travel arrangements more than 7 days in advance.
Missed sessions will not be refunded. We encourage clients to interact with others at the course and provide support for each other. If you miss a session we recommend that you ask other participants to talk you through the session you have missed. These to be arranged between you and other participant in your own time and The Ripple Effect doesn’t provide the venue. It may be beneficial also to them as it will encourage them to refresh their memory on what they learnt.
We will consider in good faith complaints made to us in writing. In the unlikely event that we are unable to resolve any issues, we and you agree to refer the problem to a single mediator and into arbitration.
As every person is different and comes with different experiences, some complex, to these courses/workshops we cannot guarantee that you will achieve the results you are seeking. As with learning any new skill, or personal growth, each individual’s results may vary widely. Each individual’s results depend on their background, dedication, desire, motivation and particular applications. However, you should have a better understanding of some theories and techniques that may help you in the future. Our facilitators are always keen to point you in the right direction if you are looking for a one to one therapy to help you overcome some difficulties. Users of this website should not rely exclusively on information provided in this website and during courses/workshops for their own personal needs. No guarantees of specific results are expressly made or implied.
It is a participant’s responsibility to manage their own emotions, learning and additional support they may need throughout the duration of the course. We kindly ask all participants to be respectful and mindful of others and their life stories. We have zero tolerance for antisocial behaviours including: bullying, abusive and politically incorrect comments, verbal and physical aggression, scapegoating etc.
The Ripple Effect reserves the right to remove any participants from its course/workshop should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate by the facilitator. This would result in no refund of course/workshop fees or other costs being given.
Please inform us in advance about any medical, mental or emotional conditions either past or present or any other information which may affect your health or suitability for the course. This will be confidential.
If we feel that the course/workshop is having a detrimental effect on you we may suggest you discontinue the course/workshop. The refund for remaining, unattended sessions will be made.
Unless otherwise indicated, all courses/workshops are delivered solely in English and all participants must be sufficiently proficient in English language before attending a course/workshop.
Participants are responsible for their own property at all times during the duration of course sessions/workshops. We will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
All web site design, logo, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software compilations, underlying source code, software and all other material on this Web site and in Client’s Course/Workshop Manual are copyright Joanna Bieszczad. Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication – without the prior written permission of Joanna Bieszczad is strictly prohibited.
Course/workshops exercises are protected under copyright. Do not attempt to try out the exercises, on others without proper training. Joanna Bieszczad and The Ripple Effect is not responsible for any adverse affects resulting as the consequences of your actions.
